We offer a shuttle service from Porto Airport to House of the Valley. The drive takes about 45 minutes and is handled by a professional, friendly driver who knows the route well. If you'd like to use this service, please let us know in advance so we can arrange it for you. The cost is €70, to be paid in cash directly to the driver.

We offer guided horse walks with Elisah Kraayenbrink at The Nova, a beautiful estate nearby. This is not about riding, but walking side by side with the horses, tuning into their calm presence and intuitive awareness. It’s a grounding and often spiritual experience. A moment to slow down, reconnect, and experience the wisdom of these gentle animals in a stunning natural setting. The cost is €150, for a 1,5 hour session.

To support your body’s natural balance and deepen your relaxation, we offer Ayurvedic massages in the comfort of your tiny house. This traditional form of massage uses warm herbal oils and flowing movements to calm the nervous system, release tension, and restore energy. Sessions are given by our trusted massage therapist, who visits House of the Valley by appointment. The cost is €80 for a 1,5 hour session.

At a nearby organic farm called Quinta de Louredo, you can take part in a traditional Portuguese cooking class. Together, you’ll prepare a three-course meal using fresh, seasonal ingredients with your choice of fish, vegetarian, or meat from the farm itself.

As you cook, your host shares recipes and stories passed down from his father, bringing warmth and meaning to every dish. Once the food is ready, you’ll sit down and enjoy the meal together in good company and a beautiful setting. The cost is €250 for two people
